The hundreds of dedicated volunteers who help the Museum are crucial to our well-being! There are many ways to get involved and to contribute your time. Each, year, our Education Department recruits docents in order to fulfill public demand for tours or to assist staff in implementing hands-on art making workshops. In addition, the Museum holds special events throughout the year that help raise money for our education and exhibitions programming. Volunteers assist staff on the day of the event to complete a variety of tasks that contribute to the success of each event. From time to time, various departments in the Museum seek under-graduate and graduate student interns to assist with daily administrative tasks. Interns gain skills and behind the scenes insights through on the job training.
