Docent Program

What is the role of a Docent?

At the Long Beach Museum of Art, our Docents are volunteers who are ambassadors for the Museum. As a crucial facet of the Education Department, Docents educate our public about the Museum’s history, exhibitions, and permanent collection. Our Docents enhance the visitor experience and develop a deeper appreciation for the art in our community
