Long Beach Museum of Art Announces Middle School Biennial Exhibition Featuring Works of Art Created By Middle School Students From Long Beach Unified School District

LONG BEACH, CA (April 17, 2015) – The Long Beach Museum of Art (LBMA) will open a new exhibition on April 19 featuring works of art from middle school students from the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD).  The Middle School Biennial Exhibition will feature 100 works from students inspired to illustrate a scene from a variety of popular literature including novels such as Moby Dick and the Harry Potter series. The exhibition will run through June 7.

The internships, one in the curatorial department and the other in the education department, have been generously funded by the Getty Foundation.
