A Tribute to Karl Benjamin

The long and remarkable career of artist Karl Benjamin is celebrated in this selection of paintings by one of the innovators of "hard edge" painting in Southern California. The Museum has several paintings by Benjamin in the permanent collection and Benjamin also donated paintings by former students and artist-colleagues including Emerson Woelffer, James Strombotne, Craig Antrim, and Danny Shain among others.
