Jeff Atherton is Assistant Professor in the School of Art and CSULB. He earned his MFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Atherton has created a large-scale, multi-volume artist's book with 66 silver gelatin photographs toned with selenium and accompanied by a book of commentaries on a "lost play" which are written in the voice of an anonymous European writing between the two World Wars. The binding is wire-edge by Daniel Kelm and Atherton printed the book at Bieler Press, Los Angeles on mould-made Somerset Velvet pages.
