Artist Talk: Serena Potter

Artist in Residence, Serena Potter, will be sharing her thoughts and process during a special Artist Talk on Sunday, March 20, from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Serena Potter's work focuses on many themes that are often contrasting. Potter received her MFA in painting from Laguna College of Art and Design. Her paintings are made dramatic by using techniques that are inspired by cinematic lighting and compositional elements used in film noir. Potter creates paintings in oil on birch panel or canvas as well as drawings with mixed media on cotton rag paper.
She will also be in the Ralston Family Learning Center every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
