Concepts of Beauty
June 8, 2014 – August 31, 2014 • All Day -
Concepts of Beauty, a joint exhibition curated in partnership with Millikan High School’s Museum Studies Program, explores the meaning of beauty in all of its forms. Students used various forms of art including paintings, mixed media, and more to define what beauty means to them. From the environment to culture and much more this student exhibition exemplifies beauty in all of its form.
Concepts of Beauty serves as the final exhibition for the 2013-14 academic year and showcases student artwork from Millikan’s Art Department. This partnership began in 2012 and provides students with the opportunity to learn first-hand the process of coordinating an exhibition. The students in the Museum Studies Program curate, plan exhibits, and manage Millikan’s on-campus art gallery.
This educational program was generously funded in part by Toyota TABC, Inc.
