Playwright and close friend of artist Patrick Angus, Robert Patrick, began his long an distinguished career in New York during the 1960s. A pioneer of Off-Off Broadway theater and the gay theater movement, Patrick urged Angus to paint and exhibit the gay hustler bars Angus often frequented in New York City. In Dialogue led by Patrick, provides a platform for Museum patrons to delve into LGBTQ+ history and discuss Angus's densely poetic body of work. The event is free, reservations are required.
