Museum Menagerie presents a selection of artworks from the Museum’s permanent collection that reminds us of our ongoing relationship to the animal kingdom. Artists have long been inspired by animals, domesticated or wild, familiar or exotic. Nearly all of these artworks have as their primary focus a singular animal divorced from a landscape. Enjoy individual portraits as well as artists’ interpretations of the qualities of lions, horses, sheep, rabbits, fish, birds, cats, dogs, and even a pig and a bear.
