Moderated by Dr. Claudia Bohn-Spector (Chief Curator at the Long Beach Museum of Art), Hortensia Soriano (Director of the Rafael Soriano Foundation), Dr. Elizabeth Thompson Goizueta (Professor of Romance Languages and Literatures at Boston College), and Dr. Roberto S. Goizueta (Margaret O’Brien Flatley Professor of Catholic Theology at Boston College), will discuss the history of avant-garde art in Cuba and the effects of revolution and exile on Soriano and his fellow artists in the twentieth century.
